BCS Audio Ltd Joins SSE Audio Group

Montreal, September 19, 2019 – SSE Audio Group is pleased to announce the acquisition of BCS Audio Ltd, the highly respected audio rental and flight case manufacturer based in Fareham near Southampton, UK. As part of the move, BCS Audio founder and managing director, Dave Shepherd joins the SSE Audio hire team, while continuing to run the BCS operation.

Dave Shepherd commented: “Joining SSE Audio Group, and  at the same time its parent company, Canadian-based Solotech, is an incredibly positive development for us and our existing client base, enabling us to access the resources and expertise of the largest audio services company in the UK, who as part of Solotech are also a global player. We are planning to integrate our rental inventory with SSE, while making the transition as smooth and seamless as possible for our clients.”

SSE Audio Group has grown rapidly in recent years, offering pro audio services including rentals, sales and installations and the group has acquired other leading UK audio companies including Canegreen, Wigwam and Capital Sound. Last year, SSE Audio Group was acquired by  Solotech, thereby joining one of the world’s largest audiovisual and entertainment technology companies.

Reporting directly Mr. Curbishley, Moro is responsible for business development and the growth of the company’s touring business in the U.S.A, Canada and Europe. With over 25 years’ experience as an Audio Engineer and Production Manager for world-renowned artists such as Norah Jones, The Tragically Hip and Chance the Rapper, Moro has acquired solid knowledge in the management of large-scale tours.

With 25 years of experience in the audiovisual, Broadway and touring industries, Beck has previously worked as a Sound Designer on major projects such as Criss Angel MINDFREAK, The Buddy Holly Story National Tour and Assistant Sound Designer on The Lion King National Tour. In Las Vegas, Beck has worked as a Project Manager and Head of Audio for Cirque du Soleil on Michael Jackson One, Viva Elvis and The Beatles LOVE.
