Solotech Relocates London Operation to State of the Art Facility

London, United Kingdom, November 20 2025 – Solotech, global leader in audiovisual technologies is pleased to announce the relocation of its London offices and warehouse to Langley, close to Heathrow Airport.

The new facility located on Heathrow West Business Park will support Solotech’ s Live Production and Sales & Systems Integration operations in and around the capital and the South East. The location benefits from excellent transport links, located just 2 miles from the M25/M4 interchange, and a 15-minute walk from Langley Station on the Elizabeth Line in to Central London.

The relocation is the latest move in Solotech’s strategy to upgrade its warehouse facilities in the UK, following the relocation of the Birmingham warehouse in 2023 and Manchester in 2024.

‘Our new purpose-built London warehouse provides the Solotech team with an efficient and modern operation from which we can provide world leading audiovisual and entertainment technology to our customer base in London, the Southeast and beyond.” commented Solotech UK MD Mark Lightfoot.

Jay Mobbs Beal, General Manager for the new warehouse added.  “This is the ideal location for visiting engineers to build their control systems. It’s vital that Solotech can offer pre-production facilities in the South East and the proximity of Heathrow is perfect for crew flying in from abroad.”

Geneviève Brodeur appointed as Vice President of Business Development – Quebec region, Live Productions

Geneviève is distinguished by her strategic vision, client relationship skills, and her ability to unite teams around common goals. Driven by a passion for innovation, she embodies both inspiring and mobilizing leadership.

Solotech appoints Stéphane Lefebvre as new President and Chief Executive Officer

After over 8 years of guiding the company to its distinctive position, Martin Tremblay, former President and Chief Executive Officer, is handing over the reins to his successor, who has been serving on Solotech’s Board of Directors.

This leadership transition embodies both continuity and renewal. In his previous role as CEO of Cirque du Soleil, he successfully led Cirque’s post-pandemic business relaunch and guided one of the world’s most iconic creative brands through transformation and global expansion. Prior to that, he developed extensive acumen in technology and systems integration management, as well as operational excellence from his twenty years in various executive management roles at CAE, a world leader in simulation, training and critical aerospace operations. Earlier in his career, he held financial advisory roles at PwC. Stéphane also currently serves on the Boards of Transat A.T. and C2 Montreal.

The Journey Continues: Solotech Supports The Weeknd After Hours ‘Til Dawn 2025 Leg

Montreal, Quebec, August 26th, 2025 – Solotech is proud to have supported The Weeknd’s electrifying After Hours ‘Til Dawn Stadium Tour, recently featured in the latest edition of Lighting and Sound America magazine.  

Since its launch in 2022, the tour has evolved with each leg, adapting to new creative directions and technical innovations. The 2025 run celebrates the release of The Weeknd’s new album Hurry Up Tomorrow. 

For this production, Solotech supplied lighting and video, and co-developed a groundbreaking LED screen wind-bracing system in collaboration with TwentyThree. Introduced for this leg of the tour, the design uses a rail system that allows the wind bracing to be installed as the wall is raised. This innovative design reduces setup time, saves truck space, and minimizes risk to crew members.

Packed with high-energy performances, surprise songs, timeless hits, and even a soaring ride on a mechanical butterfly, the tour is a true visual and technical feat. 

For this production, Solotech supplied lighting, video, and rigging equipment. This includes all ROE Visual tiles that make up the 31 individual surfaces of the main LED screen design.

Solotech Wins MONDO-DR Award for AMEX Stadium Audio Installation

Orlando, Florida, June 12, 2025 – Solotech is proud to announce that our work on the AMEX Stadium has been recognized with a MONDO-DR Award. Delivered in collaboration with L-Acoustics, this project saw the complete redesign and installation of a cutting-edge stadium sound system for Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club — all within a tight two-month window during the football off-season.

The club set out with a clear goal: to create the best-sounding stadium in the UK. To meet that ambition, Solotech designed and integrated a full-scale L-Acoustics solution tailored to the stadium’s unique asymmetrical layout.
