SonoLux Hotel
The SonoLux hotel is an immersive art hotel in Old Montreal where art and technology intertwine throughout the property, creating a narrative of sound and light for guests. Seeking an audiovisual integrator who would respect and enhance this artistic intent, SonoLux partnered with Solotech early in the design process to help bring the experience to life, while keeping the technology discreet and unobtrusive.
Solotech played a key role in translating this vision into a refined, immersive reality with 360-degree solutions. By carefully integrating EPSON PowerLite 815E projectors into hidden alcoves, Solotech ensured rich, textured projections while keeping the equipment completely invisible, preserving the integrity of the spaces. Driven entirely by projection, the exhibition unfolds across the hotel, with a tranquil, subtle visual presence in the LUMI dining room, as well as more thought-provoking and engaged viewing experiences in the room hallways. In contrast, the guest rooms are conceived as quiet havens, spaces to relax and retreat, set apart from the exhibition.
Through close collaboration, Solotech and SonoLux delivered a complex yet seamless installation that elevates the hotel’s artistic vision.
