Life Is Beautiful Festival
Life Truly Is Beautiful
Life Is Beautiful festival has returned to Las Vegas for the first time since 2019, turning 18 of Las Vegas’ city blocks into a massive festival with numerous stages. The festival was a three-day event, starting from the 17th and ending on the 19th of September, and had a record attendance of 170,000 visitors. The lighting, video and rigging were all done by us to achieve Another Planet Entertainment’s vision. The result was a spectacular visual experience that could not be matched by any other company.
This year’s edition of Life Is Beautiful featured musical performances from many acts, including Billie Eilish, Illenium, A$AP Rocky and over 100 more, while also providing other entertainment such as comedy acts, art displays and more. There was something for everyone to enjoy!
A Strong Team – Up to Face Any Challenges
Meyer Sound has collaborated with us for the Life Is Beautiful festival for many years, and each time we worked together on the festival, the result has been nothing short of magical. This year’s festival was no exception and in no small part thanks to our expertise in AV equipment, and passionate and talented staff.
One of the main challenges at the festival was that it was held on Las Vegas’ streets near where residents lived and the crews had no control over where the delay towers could be placed, meaning sound could leak outside of the festival grounds. Another factor that had to be considered was the environment, specifically the humidity and the wind, which can drastically alter the listening experience for all the attendees. Using a combination of Meyer Sound’s and our PA systems, and Meyer Sound’s MAPP 3D software, our technicians were able to set up and control the audio to ensure that the music would travel along smoothly.
“Solotech has been doing Life is Beautiful for many years now in conjunction with Meyer Sound. This collaboration means we have continuity, we have lots of factory resources. It helps that we know the product. We know that each product is doing what we ask it to do, and we’re not competing manufacturer to manufacturer”, Mike Smeaton, Director of Operations, Solotech.
