Solotech wins Video Production Company of the Year

Anaheim, California, January 31, 2025 — Solotech, a world leader in audiovisual technologies, is proud to announce that it was named Video Production Company of the Year at the 2025 Parnelli Awards, in recognition of its outstanding work on the Adele in Munich residency.

As the official supplier of the largest temporary outdoor LED screen ever installed, an innovation for which it won a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® title, Solotech has pushed back boundaries in the live events industry. The technological advances implemented during this residency, combined with Adele’s unique artistic vision, set a new benchmark in the history of music and entertainment.

“This show was groundbreaking because there was no template – only possibilities. What makes it so remarkable isn’t just the scale of the LED screen, but the innovative thinking and teamwork that made it possible,” says Ian “Woody” Woodall, Director of Global Touring and Special Projects at Solotech.

The iconic Parnelli Awards are presented annually to the most innovative companies and professionals whose achievements have set a milestone in the industry. Solotech extends its heartfelt congratulations to all the 2025 finalists and winners for their outstanding work, which demonstrated not only exceptional achievements but also boundless creativity. Their success is an inspiration to the entire industry.

The awards ceremony took place on January 24 in Anaheim, California, concurrently with the 2025 NAMM Show.

Solotech’s Role in Adele’s Record-Breaking Munich Residency

In a recent feature by Total Production International (TPi), Solotech’s role as official video supplier for Adele’s unprecedented residency in Munich, which was awarded a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® achievement for the Largest Continuous Outdoor LED Screen (temporary), was highlighted.

“When Solotech was enlisted for this project, it had a pre-existing goal to invest in a significant amount of single batch LED over a multi-year period. That was soon accelerated to three months to meet the demands of Adele in Munich. Despite global shipping challenges, Solotech managed to procure over 5,000 square meters of newly purchased ROE Visual LED screens to Solotech’s European facility to be ‘framed up’ before arriving in Munich.”

VAI Resort announces partnership with C3 Presents & Live Nation

VAI Resort, the new $1B hotel, resort and live entertainment destination in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area, has announced a new partnership with C3 Presents and Live Nation to book and promote major music and comedy shows to the $50 million VAI Amphitheater. 

Solotech has been working with VAI Resort’s team for over a year now. As designer and equipment provider for the performance audio and lighting systems of the VAI Amphitheater, we are proud and excited to be a part of this highly anticipated project that will redefine Arizona’s hotel, entertainment and culinary landscapes.  

The $1B VAI Resort is set to open in Glendale in late 2024.
