The Quebec Government Office in London serves as Quebec’s official representation in the United Kingdom, acting as a bridge for economic, cultural, and political relations. Established in 1962, it plays a key role in fostering trade partnerships, attracting investment, and promoting Quebec’s interests across the UK, Ireland, and the Nordic countries. Beyond business and diplomacy, the office actively supports Quebec’s cultural presence abroad, working closely with British institutions to showcase Quebec’s rich artistic and literary heritage. It collaborates with film festivals, art exhibitions, and academic programs, strengthening ties between Quebec and the UK’s creative industries.
A Global and Local Business Hub
As an embassy that spends a great deal of it’s time conducting business and communicating with international government agencies, it is critical that the hardware and systems being used are stable, secure, and state of the art.
As well as the long distance communications, many large events take place within the embassy. Business breakfasts, ambassadorial events and diplomatic missions often take place on the premises and so their town hall spaces need to perform when it matters the most.
Upgrading Their AV Solutions
And so, with their existing meeting and town hall spaces long overdue an upgrade, the embassy decided to call in Solotech.

A Simple, Yet Effective Solution
The Embassy’s solution was relatively straightforward, but it is one that they are extremely happy with. Two 86” LG Electronics 4K UHD displays are deployed across their two main meeting rooms, one of which doubles as the town hall space. With 330 nits brightness, the LG panel really pops in the larger spaces. Not only that, it’s compatibility with Cisco solutions means that it facilitates smoother and easier meetings.
Connected to the LG panels are Nureva HDL310 Pro Series Mist™ Speakers (which use an integrated mic solution). The HDL310 uses new algorithms that offer improved echo cancellation, speaker EQ and noise reduction, resulting in a better listening experience for remote participants. Specifically designed for pro AV performance in larger corporate spaces of 30’ x 30’, they were the perfect solution.
Logitech’s 960 Rally Plus modular conferencing system provides cinema-quality video, outstanding colour, and exceptional optical accuracy. Table top controls come courtesy of Barco’s CX-30 2nd generation clickshare for seamless conferencing.
