Stéphane Lefevbre
CPA
President, Chief Executive Officer
Stéphane Lefebvre joined Solotech as President and CEO in September 2025.
In this role, Stéphane spearheads the development of Solotech’s strategy to succeed as a global leader in audiovisual technology solutions. He is driving the company’s strategic vision and directions together with the senior leadership team, towards achieving Solotech’s strategic goals of global expansion, sustainable growth, and to pursue its ambitions of being the catalyst in the evolution of audiovisual technology solutions and the preferred partner in the touring, events, and systems integration space.
Based in Montreal, Stéphane brings a wealth of international leadership experience combined with a strong connection to an enhanced knowledge of the entertainment and technology industry. In his previous role as CEO of Cirque du Soleil, he successfully led Cirque’s post-pandemic business relaunch and guided one of the world’s most iconic creative brands through transformation and global expansion. Prior to that, he developed extensive acumen in technology and systems integration management, as well as operational excellence from his twenty years in various executive management roles at CAE, a world leader in simulation, training and critical aerospace operations. Earlier in his career, he held financial advisory roles at PwC. Stéphane also currently serves on the Boards of Transat A.T. and C2 Montreal.
An accomplished executive Stéphane excels in developing robust organizational cultures, forging enduring partnerships, and driving operational excellence. What stands out about him is not only his proven track record at the highest levels of leadership, but also his profound values and people-first approach. He recognizes the importance of culture, innovation, and excellence — qualities that define Solotech.
In recent years, Stéphane has been personally involved in various charitable organizations, including the Centennial Academy for Children with Learning Disabilities, the Marie Vincent Foundation and United Way of Greater Montreal.
Stéphane holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from HEC Montréal and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada.

Pierre Boivin
C.C., C.Q.
Chairman of the Board of Solotech
Pierre Boivin, C.C., C.Q., is, since January 2024, Vice Chair of the board of directors and Special Advisor of Claridge Inc., a private investment firm that represents the interests of the Stephen Bronfman family. He has been appointed 21st Chancellor of McGill University effective on July 1, 2024.
From 2011 to the end of 2013, he was the President and CEO of Claridge Inc.
From 1999 to 2011, he was President and CEO of the Montreal Canadiens Hockey Club, the Bell Centre and evenko.
He was President and CEO of Canstar Sports Inc, and Bauer Nike Hockey, a world leader in the hockey equipment industry, from 1994 to 1999.
He has founded Norvinca Inc. in 1978, and developed the largest sporting goods distributor in Canada, acquired in 1991, by the Benetton Group.
Pierre Boivin is currently Chairman of the board of Metro Inc. and Solotech and member of the boards of the National Bank of Canada, and Groupe CH.
Highly involved in the community, since 2023 he is co-chairman of GALOPH – an acceleration group for the optimization of the Hippodrome de Montréal project through the creation of a new, forward-looking eco-neighborhood offering thousands of community housing units.
Since 2017, Pierre is very involved in the development of the artificial intelligence ecosystem in Quebec and Canada. He is the Chairman of the board of Mila – Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute. He was also the chairman of Forum IA Quebec from 2019 to 2023, and member of the Canadian Advisory Council on Artificial Intelligence from 2017 to 2019.
In 2000, he founded the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation, of which he is Chairman of the Board.
From 2004 to 2018, he was a board member of the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation and Chairman of the board from 2006 to 2012. He was co-chairman of the major campaign Plus mieux guérir from 2013 to 2018, which raised $255 million. Pierre and his wife Lucie have been named philanthropists emeritus, as part of the Voir Grand 2023-2028 major campaign, with a target of $500 million.
From 1998 to 2003, he was Chairman of the board of Special Olympics Quebec, and he served as a board member of Special Olympics Canada from 2003 to 2006.
He was awarded an honorary doctorate from Université de Montréal in 2009 in recognition of his achievements in the sports industry and his community involvement, particularly with children.
He was named “most socially committed top executive” by Les Affaires in 2015.
He was promoted from Officer (2009) to Companion of the Order of Canada in 2024. He was appointed a knight of l’Ordre national du Québec in 2017.

Katya Laviolette

Director and Chair of the HR & Governance Committee
Appointed by Capital Desjardins, Katya Laviolette has served on the board of directors of Solotech since September 2023, contributing over 25 years of leadership experience in talent management, mergers and acquisitions, organizational effectiveness and founder-led businesses. Currently serving as the Chief People Officer at 1Password, a human-centric security and privacy leader, Katya has held senior executive roles at prominent global organizations, including SSENSE, TC Transcontinental, CBC/Radio-Canada, and Rio Tinto.
In her distinguished career, Katya has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the E.S. Sunley Scholarship, and co-chaired the Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference, showcasing her commitment to leadership excellence and diversity. Her expertise extends across talent, executive compensation, operations, hyper-growth scaling and culture change, making her a versatile asset in navigating complex governance structures.
Katya holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta and a Master’s in Industrial Relations from Queen’s University. As a member of ORHRI and a certified coach with Integral Coaching Canada, she brings a unique blend of strategic vision, leadership acumen, and a proven track record of success to Solotech’s board.

Sylvain Vincent
CA, BAA
Director and Chair of the Audit Committee
Sylvain Vincent has been a Director of Solotech and the Chair of Solotech’s Audit Committee since November November 2016. He is also Chair of the Board of the Directors of Termaco and a member of the following boards of directors: The Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal, HEC Montréal, Montréal Relève and the Evenko Foundation. In addition, he serves as a coach for executives as part of the training program at Groupe Hélios.
Throughout his career, Mr. Vincent has served as chairperson or treasurer for not-for-profit boards and professional associations. He held the position of Chair for the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal. He served over 35 years at EY, where he held the position of Associate Director for Quebec and was a member of the Board of Directors for the Canadian market when he retired in June 2016. Mr. Vincent has worked with a wide range of clients in various industries and has put his expertise to use in several sectors, including restructuring, financing, infrastructures, and mergers and acquisitions.
Sylvain Vincent holds a bachelor’s degree in Administration from HEC Montréal. He is also Fellow of the Québec Order of Chartered Accountants and holds the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

André Petitclerc
BAA, CA
Administrator and Member of the Audit & Finances Committee
André Petitclerc has served on Solotech’s board of directors since October 2013, first as an observer and now as a permanent member since February 2021. He is also a member of the following boards of directors: Communauto, Hivestack, Notarius, CDRIN and Centre d’entreprises et d’innovation de Montréal (CEIM). As an accomplished communicator and highly sought-after speaker, he is well known to significant players in Québec’s Information and Communication Technologies industry and in the multimedia sector.
Through his 30 years of financial management experience, André Petitclerc has developed a specialization in growth capital, portfolio management and business development for tech companies. He currently holds the position of Information Technology Investment Advisor, at Investissement Québec. Over the years, he has also worked for other large renowned companies, such as Société générale de financement du Québec, Desjardins Venture Capital, BCE Emergis, Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and IST, a major IT company in Québec. He has taken part in several investments in innovative and promising Québec companies, including Solotech and Stingray, among others.
Mr. Petitclerc holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting and finance from Laval University. He is also a member of the Québec Order of Chartered Professional Accountants.

Jean-Philippe (J.P.) Towner
Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors
J.P. Towner has served on Solotech’s board of directors since October 2024.
He is President and Chief Executive Officer of RONA since June 2024 and previously held the role of Chief Financial Officer.
Formerly, J.P. held several leadership positions, including Chief Financial Officer at Dollarama, as well as Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Pomerleau Inc. He also spent nearly a decade with BMO Capital Markets, with roles in both Montreal and Toronto, including Vice-President, Global Investment Banking.
J.P. is a graduate of the Harvard Business School’s General Management Program and obtained a bachelor’s degree in commerce with a specialization in accounting from Université Laval.
