Located in Dubai, the Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world. Besides housing offices, condos and a hotel, it also features a museum and observation deck. In 2010, Solotech was contracted to deploy a variety of audiovisual solutions in the museum. We handled the engineering, setup and programming of a 100-ft. video projection, comprising 22 projectors, numerous touch screens, interactive lighting, display lighting and digital signage.
The Burj Khalifa was sufficiently satisfied with our work to renew its contract with Solotech in 2014 for a second phase of the project, consisting of an expansion of the museum’s exhibition space. Solotech’s mandate was to design and integrate additional audiovisual equipment and an automation system, as well as mapping and projection of numerous exhibition videos. This modern and interactive museum experience gave Solotech the opportunity to demonstrate its expertise not just once but twice!
